Annual billing
Eleven months for twelve. That is the whole offer.
Pay for a year up front and you are charged 11 monthly payments instead of 12. You get 12 months of access. One month is free — that is it.
There is no percentage to decode and no fine print. The annual price is exactly 11 times the monthly price of the same plan, whichever plan your academy is on, and that is what the invoice says.
Included in every paid plan
Once you are on a paid plan, nothing else is locked. You only pay for the students on your mat.
Members, families and guardians
Profiles, contact details, emergency contacts, documents and waivers. Guardians hold the account for their children; each child keeps their own record.
Classes, bookings and check-in
A weekly timetable, bookings, a kiosk for the front desk and attendance that counts towards promotion instead of sitting in a spreadsheet.
Belts, stripes and graduations
Full promotion history with dates and the professor who awarded it, adult and youth belt tracks, and a graduation list built from time at belt, attendance and curriculum coverage.
Curriculum and technique library
Your syllabus mapped to positions, what has been taught this cycle, and how far each student has covered it — sitting on the graduation list before graduation week, not after.
Billing and payments
Recurring memberships through Stripe Australia, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual cycles, family accounts with one payer, pauses, and a receipt for every charge.
Retention, rewards and automations
Students drifting away are surfaced while there is still time, trials are followed up automatically, and milestones are celebrated without you writing the email.
The Academy Shop — selling gis, rash guards and gear to your students — is the one exception, and it is included on Max.

Which students count towards my plan?
Active students — the people currently training with you, plus any coach or admin who holds an account. Trial visitors who have not joined yet do not count, and neither do guardians who only hold the account for their children or cancelled members sitting in your history.
What happens when my academy grows past a plan?
You move up a tier, and the tier reflects how many students you are running rather than which features you get. Every paid plan carries the whole system.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. Under fifteen active students the academy runs free, with no card and no countdown — members, attendance and the timetable. Paid plans start a 14-day trial when you pick one, so you can see the whole system with your own data first.
What does annual billing actually save me?
An annual subscription is charged 11 monthly payments for 12 months of access. That is one month free, and it is the entire offer.
Do I have to migrate everything myself?
No. Send us an export from your current system and we do the migration for you at no cost — members, memberships, attendance and belt history where your export carries it.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from inside the app, and your data stays yours. Paid plans also carry a 14-day money-back guarantee, so a month you regret is not a month you argue about.
Are the prices in Australian dollars?
Yes. Mat+ is built in Australia and billed in AUD, ex-GST, through Stripe Australia.
